What Andy Sanborn actually said was next to nothing in the grand scheme of crap issued from the mouths of Democrats and summarily ignored or dismissed. But NHDP Spokes-Kid, Harrell ‘Jersey Shore’ Kirstein snapped like a dried twig stepped on by a troll looking for a bridge to terrorize. Total over-reaction. In fact, the Democrat party response was so dramatic and so over the top it deserves a nomination for left wing for tantrum of the year.
So why the nomination in the “even more over-dramatic than usual fear-mongering from the Democrat State party over a person, issue, or statement” category?
They want Andy off the Medicare expansion committee because he has a clear voice in opposition; as if it wasn’t already stocked with bobble-heads who are going to pretend to research the issue before they rubber stamp a big ole yes please on that stinker. In a recent press release they come right out and demand he be removed.
This is an interesting precedent to be setting. I’m reasonably sure we could use this against the Democrats and often. I may even have a lost somewhere of elected Democrats who have said things that would warrant their removal–according this new standard–from all manner of boards and committees. They won’t respond, of course. In every instance they will claim that any such request is just politically driven and an overreaction to some otherwise harmless remark. And they wold be right. Which is why Sanborn and anyone else should ignore them with regard to this.
