Quick take: Speaking of the ‘Grok getting recognized….

Grok LogoWe do work hard, we Groksters here at the ‘Grok.  No, we don’t do it for the fame, the glory, or the money (er, none of us earn a dime here (Unlike Zandra Rice Hawkins of Granite State Progress; an transplant supported by outside-the-State Billionaires) – we’ve found ourselves to be on solid ground when we realized that we should not give up the day jobs) – but we do have lots of opinions on a whole lot of subjects, issues, and events and we are not shy about sharing them from our Conservative / libertarian (note the small “L”) standpoints of free markets, fiscal frugality, Constitutional values, limited expressions of Government, and Individual Freedom and Liberties.

So when someone else gives us a H/T (Hat Tip) or asks us to speak or uses some of our material (in the way it was meant), it is most appreciated.  Four recent ones come to mind

  • The hard work that Grokster Steve has been putting in on GrokTALK! every Saturday morning resulted in a national syndication for our podcast (and soon, adding in live audio streaming and call-ins)
  • DaTechGuy (Pete Ingemi) had Grokster Mike on his syndicated radio show to share his views on “stuff”
  • And then someone walked up to TMEW and I in Lowes picking up a few things…

As I related to the other Groksters earlier today:

Speaking of the ‘Grok getting recognized, a short tale.

After doing my “transport duties”, Debbie and I had to run to Lowes to pick up some odds and ends (including 75 feet of phone cord so we can get the phone hybrid working again and at LEAST be able to make call out’s to guests) and after finding what we needed, were looking at some solar lights for the pathway stairs.

Anyways, we were standing there and this older gentleman walked by and remarked “I like your shirt” – Debbie was was wearing her bright yellow “Don’t Tread on ME” NH TEA Party T-Shirt. I turned around and said “thank you” and he hesitated and then stopped dead in his tracks. He looked at me with a serious face and asked: “Do you read GraniteGrok? You ought to!”

Yes, he was a bit surprised when I introduced myself “My name is Skip Murphy and I own GraniteGrok.com”

To say that GraniteGrok is so tied in with the TEA Party movement gives me a contented feeling – we ARE known for who we are, through and through. Thank you all for helping to let people know what our foundational stands are!

Indeed – I write my fair of posts here, but the credit goes to all the writers here at GraniteGrok and not me.  I am thankful that these folks take of their free time and spend it here in arguing and defending those values that gave birth to our nation and made it the greatest nation the world has ever known against those foreign and alien philosophies that Progressives promise will both “enlighten” and “progress us forward”.  The Groksters know that this is a false premise and will ONLY take us back to the Regressive forms of Government that existed before our Founding, so each and every day we pick up our keyboards and go to war in the Arena of Ideas.

We appreciate you all, loyal readers, for coming by and continue to read us.  Those of you who are “tracking” us?  C’mon, raise yourselves out of the “Lurking Levels” and persuade us that we’re wrong….

…I dare you to try.

Right Zandra?
