Conventional wisdom: Obamacare Delay – An actual train wreck in motion?

Beeler - Obamacare train wreck

The day after that President Obama made a Royal Decree that contrary to his Oath of Office (“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”) decided that he did not have to execute a legally legislated Law (and signed by him, btw), Obamacare, by merely snapping his fingers and decided that he did not have to follow the clause in Section 1513 of the Law that Democrats wrote and passed (remember, not a SINGLE Republican voted for this Individual Liberty killer) which declared “shall apply to months beginning after December 31, 2013.”  There is no clause in there that says “or shall defer to the best judgement of the Chief Executive as to implementation”.

Seeing that most things Obamacare are getting to derail, Obama single handedly and unilaterally (er, all by his lonesome, like when he declared that the Senate was now in recess and made his appointments to the National Labor Relations Board – now ruled unconstitutional) decided that he had the power to overrule properly legislated law on a whim.

Make no difference why – whether in a panicked realization that his legacy is about to end up in thousands of micro bits or in a panic that he has to do something to ensure the Democrats run the table in the 2014 elections in the US House and Senate.  He has done something UnConstitutional.

While most on the Right are going “See, this IS the train wreck we saw it to be”, methinks the better thing is to sue and FORCE the Executive Branch to “faithfully carry out the laws of the United States” and make sure that ALL of this stupidity is hung around his neck and his neck only.

Giving him a year may actually get a kludgey system that mostly works – a good enough solution.  Forcing it NOW will dispel all doubts.

Especially since the mamby-pamby still-in-diaper-pullups Republicans in the House have not yet done what those with brass would have done a while ago – stop with the useless votes to repeal (nothing but a PR stunt) but actually defund this monstrosity.  But, that would actually take REAL political courage…

Something that is very short supply in the Stupid Party Elites in DC, so it seems.
