Your Fair Share Of Nothing

desertIf you were paid by a company that borrowed almost half of what it claimed as income and had accumulated 17 trillion in debt along the way, you’d be right to wonder if you’d ever see another paycheck, and if you did, if you would even be able to cash it.  Benefits?  I wouldn’t count on those either.  You might consider looking elsewhere for your means, look for a different job, a different career even, considering how insolvent your current arrangements appeared to be.

But Democrats not only do not want you to think that when it comes to the Federal Government, they are actually trying to recruit more folks onto the payroll of their very similar enterprise.

The Government is running on bankrupt, it just doesn’t want to admit it yet.

Despite that the Democrats want more and more people to commit to it.  And they are going so far as to claim that anyone who opposes any entitlement expansion, even though it is likely to collapse right underneath these people,  is mean, evil, hates women and children, is against education, or love, or that they are bigots or racists or just haters.

That is why the left promulgates hate for the TEA Party.

Democrats attacked anyone who understood that we’ve overspent and over borrowed on promises we could no longer keep, and that this wasn’t just going to hurt the taxpayers, it was going to hurt everyone who believed the lie and lined up to take part.   And the left continues to vilify them for it every chance they get.

We were (we are) just tyring to tell you the truth.  The Democrats and their policies are leading more and more of us out into the fiscal desert with borrowed water.

And maybe you’ve noticed–they are doing everything they can to make sure there is little other “water” to be had that is not under their control.  That the result of policiy after policy is to shrink the economy and create dependence.  To decrease the supply of wealth that is even available for alternatives.  To literally corner the market on “general welfare” and ‘Happiness’ so they can then decide what it is and then who is truely deserving of it.

But at some point the “water” will dry up, that check, that promise from the government, it  isn’t going to be worth anything.  It will be a hand full of sand in that desert they led you into.  And believing the lie, even defending it, will have earned you your fair share.  Your fair share of nothing.

All the talk, the ads, the narratives and rhetoric cannot overcome the simple fact that none of this is sustainable.

Whether it is expanding Medicaid or Medicare, adding tens of millions of illegal immigrants, dumping billions into green money pits, or just the trillions wasted on bureaucratic scape-goats, it is not wise to drink borrowed Kool-aid jut because they told you that it was “free.”  It is less wise to get angry when it stops coming.  And it will stop.   It has too.  The laws of nature and of natures God cannot be fooled for long, and that includes the laws of accounting.   Only men and women can.

So if you have allow yourself to be lead out into the wastelands, are allowing yourself to be lead there, and you find yourself left stranded in that desert without water because you trusted that the government would always borrow more for you, or take it form someone else, understand that the false-prophets who mislead you will be long gone, just like the promises they made.

They can only steal for you for so long.  They can only borrow for you for so long.  If you cannot see that your only security for you, your family, your children, your neighborhood, your town, even your state,  is in trying to make your own way, in supporting policies that make it easier for you to do just that, then I hope you like the desert.
