NH AG Richard Head Coordinated with Holder’s DOJ in Pursuit of James O’Keefe

NH Poll workers see dead people

J. Christian Adams has a revealing piece over at PJ media–hat tip to reader for sending me the link–in which he informs us that PJ Media has sued US Attorney General Eric Holder for failing to comply with a Freedom of Information Request.  What does that have to do with New Hampshire?

After James O’Keefe’s voter ID sting during the last presidential primary the NH AG’s office apparently coordinated with the US Attorney General’s office, to investigate the matter (and James O’Keefe) at great length, with many public employees getting involved.  PJM contends that given the scope the recent release of documents in response to..

...A Freedom of Information Act request for these documents was made on May 10, 2012.  New Hampshire did not comply with the request until June 13, 2013.  Associate Attorney General Richard Head said that the request was delayed because “there was an open investigation regarding Project Veritas and Mr. O’Keefe.”

The documents were only provided after O’Keefe conducted an ambush interview of Richard Head at his office in New Hampshire and asked Head why he did not comply with the public records request.

(GraniteGrok was there!)

Adams continues…

Given the communications between the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and the DOJ over the course of multiple months, and with so many government employees involved, it is inconceivable that Richard Head’s response of June 13, 2013, contains all of the documents responsive to the May 10, 2012, request.

This is all very interesting given that Holder is on the record, with regard to the Veritas portion of the exact same sting in DC, indicating that O’ Keefe did not in fact violate any laws in DC.   As Skip reminds us – “…following the EXACT same protocol that the Project Veritas folks used in NH.”

So the NH AG’s office and Richard Head, the best name for a public official in the Granite State since Dick Sweat, actively pursued action against O’Keeffe, coordinating quietly with the US Department of Justice, but would not comply with a request for release of public records regarding a video sting that showed holes in NH’s election law process, an activity declared by Attorney Holder to be done without violating the law, until after another video sting was done of Assistant AG Richard Head, in pursuit of those documents.

Anyone see a pattern here?

Is it any wonder the institutional left and their bureaucracy are out to prohibit this kind of journalism by anyone but their own compliant media stenographers?  We had to have a sting to uncover the investigation documents of the sting that showed NH’s electoral process was Swiss cheese. Anyone want to ask why there was no apparent follow through by any of the major media in New Hampshire?  Does anyone know if they even covered the recent interview with AG Richard Head or the fact that his office had been withholding documents?  It’s not on heavy rotation anywhere–even the NHGOP appears to be ignoring it.

Must not be news then?

Speaking of news,  Zandra Rice Crispy Treats Hawkins at the radical left wing advocacy group Granite Out of State Influence Progress had her own fingers in this pie, having produced a stack of petitions signed mostly by out of state petitioners, which she delivered to Dick Head at the NH AG’s office encouraging the very investigation of which we speak. (Granite State Progress was also in front of dragging out of state actors into the Granite State with their out of state money to attack Senator Kelly Ayotte and to encourage the imposition the very same laws that failed to stop a murderer in Connecticut, from the Federal level, which would relieve any local Progressive Democrats or Republicans from the burden of having to running for office after voting for such a Bill.)

I wonder if somewhere in those undisclosed documents we’ll find any reference to the uber-lefty Out of State Progress/Hawkins petition, and if Head has any explanation for how it appears that over 100,000 signatures from outside the state may have moved him to act against a group that went out of its way to show the people of the state that their were huge holes in the integrity of their election process?   A process that Liberal Judge John Left Lewis cracked open weeks before the recent presidential election that allowed anyone from outside the state to claim domicile here with out of state ID for voting purposes only.  An effort barely challenged by the state.)

And how does this stack up against the fact that the NH AG’s office along with the Secretary of State, have repeatedly ignored at least a decades worth of evidence of vote fraud perpetrated to benefit the left, and done little more than churn out bogus reports about how secure our elections are?  Are they just being vindictive?

Maybe this is the NH AG Voter ID version of Shaheening?

Let’s hope more documents are forthcoming so we can determine the true motivation behind this and all the players involved.
