Burglar_SilhouetteJamaal Moore, who had a considerable criminal history was shot after attempting to flee the scene of a robbery and a high speed chase through a residential neighborhood.  Five offenders, including Moore, “piled out” of the car, and attempted to run. Moore and a police officer fought. Moore threw the officer to the ground twice. “The officer was thrown around like a rag doll,” Police said.An officer warned that Moore had a gun. Moore then went after a female officer and who fired twice, killing Moore.

Burglar_SilhouetteIn Springfield Tennessee Kevin Hudson engaged in a 6-hour stand-off with SWAT team officers who had used tear gas during the standoff.  Hudson had held his ex-girlfriend at gunpoint at his home after the woman came to pick up Christmas gifts for her son. Holding his ex-girlfriend and her son hostage, Hudson put a gun to the woman’s chin and threatened to kill her and the son if she left.  Hudson then exchanged gunfire with Police. Letting the woman and child go after about two hours, Hudson then took his own life.  Hudson fatally shot himself inside his home and officers believe he had been using cocaine heavily the day before.

Burglar_SilhouetteRodgreguez Shaw confronted a man inside a market, pulling a gun and threatening him. the man, acting in self-defense pulled a gun shooting Shaw who died of a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. The man who shot him is thought to have acted in self-defense, North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor told press.

 

Burglar_SilhouetteIn Henderson, North Carolina, 24-year-old Deyon Durham, while engaged in a home invasion, was killed by the homeowner with a gun.  Durham had convictions  for indecent liberties with a minor, sexual battery, breaking and entering vehicles, larceny and failure to register as a sex offender, according to state Division of Adult Correction records.

Officers chased Fletcher on foot, locating him at which point a shooting ensued with Officers killing him.  At 16, Fletcher robbed a Wisconsin bank with a sawed-off shotgun.
