Mike Biundo Hired by Iowa US Senate Candidate

The Des Moines Register is reporting that US Senate Candidate Sam Clovis has hired New Hampshire’s own Mike Biundo and RightOnStrategies as his general consultants.

Clovis, a Sioux City radio host and college professor who announced his Senate candidacy last week, said today that he has hired Michael Biundo, Santorum’s former national campaign manager.

Clovis is seeking the GOP nomination for the seat that retiring U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin, a Democrat, will leave open in 2014. Clovis intends to visit all 99 counties, a tradition modeled after Republican U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley.

In a news release today, Clovis said he has hired RightOn Strategies as his general consultants.

The New Hampshire-based firm was co-founded by Biundo, Kory Wood and Derek Dufresne.
