Blogline of the Day: “Please save us from bipartisan gangs”

It’s true, we have a two-party system in America: The Evil Party, and the Stupid Party. And every once and a while the Evil Party and the Stupid Party get together to pass something really evil and stupid. That’s called “bipartisanship.”

It would seem the perfect description of the Gang of Eight and immigration reform. Please save us from bipartisan gangs.

Bipartisanship – go ahead, take a HARD look and see how far “bipartisanship” has taken us away from the ideal that Government is accountable to We The People, that it should be something that stays in the background while we were supposed to live our lives to our standards and not someone else’s.  Go ahead, look closely at each and every aspect of your daily life with the simple question “Is there any aspect of this activity or product I buy in which Government has NOT inserted itself”?

And then think – didn’t our Founding Fathers fight a Revolution for far less than this?  And to those that say “Hey, you have legislators that represent you!”, ask yourself – are there more laws by legislators or regulations by bureaucrats?  Hint: Obamacare spanned 2,700 pages; the regulations, thus far, span well over 20,000.  This follows the rhetorical line of reasoning as to who is ruling who: when is the last time you elected a bureaucrat?

Instead, bipartisanship has brought us $17 Trillion in debt, hundreds of thousands of new pages of laws and regulations that reduce Individual Freedom, and a Government bureaucracy that, more and more, is thumbing its nose at the American Public that pays its salaries to the point where the notion that “Government is the problem” (as said by Reagan) is passe; “Let us wage war on the American Public” (as we see with the IRS targeting people who simply believe that Government is too big, too costly, and no longer staying within their authorizing legislation.

Or within Constitutional values.
