Tyranny – Some might say it is already here, Mr. President – Part II

When I wrote this post about Government Tyranny, I forgot to say anything at all about President Obama’s outlook – a VERY Progressive (which translates to “incremental Socialism”) outlook of what Government should be.  Progressives are technocrats – they  believe that Government should be stocked by experts that are there to organize Society to be efficient and to act in non-partisan non-ideological fashion in manage the cogs in the Machine of Society.  This is part and parcel of Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of America from a land of sovereign citizens in charge of themselves to a land where we have outsourced that (whether voluntarily or not) that claim to self-rule

Sidenote: another term that Obama tries to redefine; self-rule just does not pertain to that in the aggregate but to ourselves.  Yet, Progressives want to take Choice away from the individual – so aren’t they undermining the American Experiment in a more egregious fashion than Obama does when he says to not “listen to those voices”?

That Government should be ruling for the sake of efficiency is in direct contradiction of the concept of self-rule. So even as Obama talks the game of the “unique experiment of self-rule”, his goal is other than that (being the Progressive-in-Chief), for if Government makes all decisions, what is left for “self-rule”? And what we saw in that post with the examples of the Benghazi Cover-up and with the IRS putting the screws to organizations with “TEA Party” or “Patriot” – could that ever be considered to be non-partisan?  How could it be other than an ideological bent in attacking one’s perceived enemies strictly on an ideological?  “We must protect the Political Class” – how does that advantage Society when all it says is “we treat the Rulers better than the workers” either when bad decisions have been made or when those that disagree with the move to a more Progressive model and away to that of the Founders are attacked by the Government Class?

Does this show that the Progressive words are just for show – and that they are ideological as any other?  That for all their talk of being “pragmatists” Or do they wish to concede that they are the Party of Orwell and feel free to say “a word means what I say it to mean”.  Has the con gone on too long and now the curtain has been rent asunder?

Non-partisan and non-ideological, they say, is the hallmark of the Progressive State.  I just can’t see it when these events are shoved up my nose; man, I am really going to hate relearning my English.
