Hey Baucus No Running from YOUR Train Wreck!

How convenient to awaken in the bar car, stinking of gin, cigars, and $30.00 hookers, and then slither off, shower, shave, and return just in time to shame those still hunkered down in wrinkled suits, shriveled ties and soiled pride.

Well, that’s what Sen. Max “More coal man! We need to get this rattler up to speed” Baucus just did yesterday when he waxed sanctimonious at the Engineer he helped put in charge of the unwieldy locomotive he helped put in place before he left to get his wild on.

He lectured Secretary Sebelius whose currently struggling to keep a grip on the throttle of the O.C Express.

“I just see a huge train wreck coming down…”, Baucus said. “Small businesses have no idea what to do, what to expect”.

Well thanks a lot Mister Baucus. While you were indulging in undoubtedly quid pro quo delights furnished by your partisan cronies because of your service as “a key architect of the healthcare reform law” the engine’s too hot, cars too fat and too numerous to manage and we’re heading towards Sam’s Steep Decline. And now, you say something as the rails are bending and hammered right to everyone’s doorstep? Nice timing, ****!

Apparently, I’m not the only one that loathes this obvious political distancing and repositioning. Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan) decided to call out the execrable, invidious cretin and wrote him a letter (read it in entirety here).  A little taste follows from The Hill:

ObamaCare ‘train wreck’ is your fault

Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) was not impressed with Sen. Max Baucus’s (D-Mont.) criticism of how the Obama administration has implemented its signature healthcare law.

Baucus said Wednesday that he fears the implementation will be a “huge train wreck” because people do not understand what the reform law does.

If it’s a train wreck, Pompeo said, Baucus has no one to blame but himself.

“No one in the country bears more responsibility for the complexity of this law than you,” Pompeo wrote in a letter to Baucus on Thursday.
