A bleg to Andy Leach’s Boss – where ARE you on this issue?

Yes, the Andy Leach of the Title is the same Andy Leach that I mentioned here (e.g., NH GOP Chair Jennifer Horn’s email to NH GOP Treasurer Robert Scott; “Nice Treasurership you got there; a shame if anything were to happen to it…”):

QUESTION????   Why is Andy Leach, in his capacity of CoS to Kelly Ayotte, being copied on this kind of matter?  Yes, she may well be on the E-Board, but what does she OR Leach have to do with this internal governance spitting match?  Can someone tell me, your lowly blogger, the why of this, please?  After all, there are many folks out there that truly believe that I am of the dimmest bulb sort – I look to be enlightened!  Or is it as simple of what I have heard in rumor: simply one of a few whispers behind the throne?

Anyways, CoS stands for Chief of Staff – Kelly right hand man.  But I digress.  This post is not about him but rather the Jr. Senator from NH, Republican Kelly Ayotte.

Here is the question:

Where is your name in all this?  Before your election, you were asked this question (darn, I can’t find the video!):

The question is: “along the political spectrum of a “1” being Olympia Snow and a “10” being Jim DeMint, where would you be?

And her answer was to not give a direct answer but this platitude:  “I will listen to the people of NH”.  So, the questions is now, what does Kelly believe the people of NH are saying, given the numbers of folks showing up for both pro and anti-gun rallys?  Back to the original question: where do you stand along the political spectrum – concerning the Democrats push for further infringement of Joe Citizen’s Constitutional Right to “keep and bear arms”?

I see a number of names that aren’t just saying they will vote against anything that Reid, Schumer and Feinstein bring forward in taking political advantage in a real tragedy – they will filibuster any bill brought forward that they believe violates their Oaths to the US Constitution:

“Urge them to join with us in supporting the Paul-Cruz-Lee filibuster. That means they should tell senators to oppose the motion to proceed to any gun control vehicle, and to oppose cloture on the motion to proceed to any gun control vehicle.”

In addition to Paul, Lee, Cruz, Rubio and Moran, the Republican who have signed the second letter are Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Mike Enzi of Wyoming, Jim Risch and Mike Crapo of Idaho, Dan Coats of Indiana and Pat Roberts of Kansas.

“We will oppose the motion to proceed on any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions,” they write.

Consider yourself “urged”, Senator Ayotte (and you also have the NH Constitution to worry about, Article 2-A) – instead of paling around with John “Wacko Birds” McCain, these stalwart Constitutionalists may well prove to be of more assistance.

And it would give those of us who watch these things less reason to reach for the Pepto-Bismol bottle (or is that Jack’s?)
