NH HB0411 – Where the NH House Democrats are about to make boat owners financial victims – of the Democrats!

You see, this is the main problem that Democrats have – in their all so Orwellian manner sense of “we all in this together – whether you like it or not” –

Sidenote:  like that old phrase of “can’t win, can’t lose, can’t get out of the game”, we “can’t get out of their enforced community”), we’re stuck as they can’t hear “can’t you just leave us all alone??”

Communitarianismly, they will compassionately use the Force of Government (another oxymoron) in trying to help their latest victim group du jour, they have no problem in making the rest of us real financial victim of their involuntary charity (my cup runneth over with Orwell’s Oxymoronic wine tonite, I guess).  So, in their attempt to scrounge up even more pennies and dimes to give to others, boaters are now in the Democrat financial rifle scope (“send it!”) and will become their next victim.  Like that phrase: mi casa est su casa?  Yeah, Democrats think you mean that literally – and thank you for it.

Actually, boat taxes are supposed to go down (Thank the Republicans for trying to make this family activity a cheaper activity)  this summer on boats.  So, the Democrats, continuing in their Sherman’s March to the Sea of upsetting settled law (didn’t they say that all the time last year  – who knew that Democrats believed rowboats fall into the SuperYacht category??  Here’s that word again: Consistency!).  The dirty deed detail?

  • With the lessened taxes:  Based on the rates scheduled to go into effect on July 1, 2015, the Department states revenue produced per fiscal year would be $1,529,580.  Yes, this is the Republican law
  • With the Democrat tax hike: Based on the current number of vessel registrations, the Department states the fees in effect produce $3,059,160 of revenue per fiscal year.

Yes, the Democrats have decided you don’t need that extra $1.5 million in your own pocket (instead of theirs).  But after all, you don’t need that boat, right (now that we’re gonna tax it right out of the water – leaving you to still pay that loan off!).  After all, its for the Quality of Life for those folks swimming in Lake Winnipesaukee in the middle of the Broads!  So, pitch all that tax money in, as we’re all in this together!

Yeah, we’re back to that “can’t get out of” part again…. (and I snuck in all three phrases that define a Progressive too (snicker)!).  BTW, it’s late – I’ll put up the tables later.
