How About A “Little” Tax Increase Scarecrow?

NH Democrats fleece taxpayers again

The motion to suspend rules and introduce an amendment that would require funds raised for highways and bridges to be spent on Highways and bridges failed, with 51 Republicans voting with the Democrats against the motion.

The following vote to raise New Hampshire’s gas tax 83% which includes funding things other than roads and bridges, passed 207-163, along party lines (I hear), though someone else mentioned that a few (r)epublicans may have voted for it.  (I bet we could guess who they are.)

I don’t have any lists of names yet but someone will post them once available.

So the progressives and liberals own the massive NH  gas tax hike, and the deceitful use of that tax for other government purposes.

So should we call the Democrats 83 percenters or just stick with the usual colorful metaphors?

Can we hope the soft-centered barely Republican State Senate will have the back-bone to stop it?
