Maybe the start of a Revolution? Another firearms company to leave NY Govt to its own firearm devices (or not)

LaRue Tactical Olympic Arms.  Now a third firearms company, York Arms,  is saying that what is bad for civilians is going to be bad for Government entities and Law Enforcement agencies in New York due to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s new law (hey, he was all but frothing at the mouth to get this, so let him own it!)  that all but eliminates gun usage / ownership (when there are no mags that fit the law AND the guns in New York, you have effectively killed the Second Amendment in NY – for now).  The Press Release:

Buxton, ME –(Ammoland.com)- Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York.

We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York.

As a result we have halted sales of rifles, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, machine guns, and silencers to New York governmental agencies.

This part was GREAT:

For “civilian” customers residing in New York: At your choice, we will:

  • Complete your order and ship to a dealer of your choice outside of NY.
  • Refund your payment in full.
  • Hold your items here for up to 6 months, at no charge – if you are in the process of leaving NY and taking residence in another state.

For LE/Govt customers in New York: Your orders have been cancelled.

Helping civilians best they can – and outright cancelling govt orders.

Protecting the civilians – after all, how is this their fault (yes, I know, the general populace voted these chuckleheads into office – but I’m betting just a small sliver of gun owners)?  They are bending over backwards to make the normal Joe whole – you have to applaud this….truly putting the phrase “People before Profits” into action.  But as most of us know, what they did was GOOD business sense.  They counted the cost – both short term and long term and decided it was worth it…

…and then turned the tables on the Government.  Democrat Progressives, IMHO, want to crush the gun owners – they thought “here’s our chance – crank it!” (along with useful idiot Republicans!) and saw no impediment in their path.  Look, LE and other Govt entities often need weaponry to keep them safe as well, but now that we have seen Government making the turn to ruling (vs Government).

This may be the start of what happened to the ESOS show in Pennsylvania (that gets hundreds of thousands of visitors). When the British owners of the event company that puts on ESOS told some of its small exhibitors that they would not be allowed to show or sell modern sporting rifles (“black rifles”), a few companies cancelled their tables.  Then it started to spread to almost ALL of the firearms folks including the big boys like S&W, Sig, Glock, et al.  They ended up cancelling their participation in the show.  The Brits learned a lesson – you may be the Queen’s subjects but we are Free Citizens so don’t mess with our enumerated Rights (most of us hate political correctness, too – and that’s what the Brits showed).

And now we see civilians starting to do the same to their Government – for after all, they govern with our consent and not by a birthright or manifest destiny from upbringing.  We have seen that a lot more of the populace have sensed a radical change in the culture and in how those in Government view Society (and how those now running Government wish to erase Society leaving only Government that Individuals can interact with).  Are we seeing a re-genesis of the TEA Party?  The latter was in relationship to out of control spending and a Government not staying inside its Constitutional bounds.

Now, we see Patriots reacting to a Government that is weakening or severely redefining what we commonly know to be our innate Rights and an outright grab to remove the only things that can protect us from them.
