We’re going down: Datapoint Baltimore, Maryland

by Tim Condon

From CBS Baltimore, Channel 13:

“Two six-year-old boys were suspended while playing cops and robbers during recess and using their fingers to make an imaginary gun.

“This is…

…the second time a Maryland child has been suspended for such play. Earlier this month, six-year-old Rodney Lynch was suspended from his Montgomery County school after pretending to fire an imaginary gun more than once.”

THANK YOU THANK YOU TIM CONDON!!!! I emailed this story to Skip over a week ago asking if you guys would please do a story on it! This was the second story I’d emailed him in a week. The other one is a recent story involving guns, schools and Vermont. It’s worth checking out. But thanks for at least mentioning this reactionary, knee-jerk, idiotic move by a Maryland school.

For some – who have the time, money, energy, intelligence, breadth and depth of knowledge, support system, networking skills – yes! It’s a fine option. For anyone else – it’s not the best option.

In a lot of the cases, either are the Government schools.

Do you mean N-E-I-T-H-E-R? Can’t resist a “teachable moment!”

Exactly, Danny Boy, which is why those without the means be enabled to have a choice in school selections like, you know, BozObama, the Kennedys (or it that Kennedies?), the Clintons, and virtually all other LimoLibs. Seems like the fair thing to do, you know, for diversity’s and choice’s sake.
