Democrats and Taxes “Simplified.”

I posted this on Facebook yesterday.  It is a simplified look at Democrats and taxes.  I though I’d share it with the Grok audience.

Rule #1 – Insist that we need more revenue so we must raise some taxes.

Rule#2- Tell people that if they let you raise “these” taxes you will then cut “those” taxes.

Rule#3- Hope they do not realize that claiming you’d be willing to cut some taxes would contradict the original excuse for needing to raise some taxes.

Rule #4 Whatever happens spend as if you’d already raised the taxes anyway.

Rule#5- Repeat Rule#1

    Corollary to rule #2: Real estate taxes are bad. Must implement virtuous income tax … but don’t get rid of the bad real estate tax. Dumbocrats, ya got to flush twice so they make it all the way to MA-MA Land.

          I had a ‘reach-around’ remark all cued up but seeing as the Democrat Party Chairman is gay that might violate the Pentagon’s Matthew Shepherd anti-hate speech Defense Spending Law -circa 2009 was it?; not to mention the Granite State’s clone version.

          So I glad I didn’t use it.
