Paul Harvey, as we knew him, was born Paul Harvey Aurandt, September 4, 1918 in Tulsa Oklahoma. Paul Harvey, was a true conservative, something absent these days from the ABC Radio Networks. Anybody that ever listened to the radio in the 80’s and into the 90’s knew who Paul Harvey was, his distinctive voice. and the tenor of his messages.

Paul Harvey could be heard with news and commentary weekday mornings and mid-days, famous for his, “And now you know, The Rest of the Story,” segments. Estimates predict his listening audience was about  24 million people a week.

Paul Harvey News was carried on 1,200 radio stations, 400 Armed Forces Network stations and over 300 newspapers. Paul Harvey’s broadcasts and newspaper columns found their way into the Congressional Record more than any other media commentator.

Paul Harvey was married to the same woman, Lynn “Angel”Cooper Harvey until she died in 2008 at age 92.
