You can’t make this stuff up! “Whistle Smoke Dope, Drink Beer While you work!” Thirteen UAW auto workers have been reinstated with back pay after being fired when they were caught drinking and smoking dope on break. In my own slice of world, reasonable people agree this rises to the level of workplace misconduct. But not if you are a Union Auto Worker…Clearly, one of the effects of alcohol is pretentiously making one feel, “six foot tall and bullet proof,” but CLEARLY, if one is a UAW Chrysler Auto Worker, that is a literal metaphor.
In September of 2010, Chrysler fired thirteen Union auto workers after Fox News 2 Reporter Rob Wolchek got video documentation…did you catch that? “VIDEO DOCUMENTATION…” of the workers leaving the engine plant during their morning break for libations and doobies. So just to recap…These Guys in Detroit go to their well-paid Union-negotiated, Government bail-out jobs…Smoke dope, drink beer…despite policies to the contrary…get caught and then get their jobs back with no consequence. No accountability whatsoever. Right-to-Work legislation has never looked so good today than it does today. As for the Government bail-out for Chrysler, I am glad I drive a Ford. I will be buying another one.
