Sigh – I really don’t even want to use the “a stopped clock” phrase here either.  But:

From RedState, this comment on that quote: Apparently, the wolves have already decided what’s for supper, and Americans making more than $250,00 per year are the main course.

    The carbon tax, all Americans. The federal sales tax, all Americans. The VAT tax, all Americans. The quarter millionaire tax is a game and will float the govt for 1 week.

      Hey Sam, WHY do you want to give the Feds even MORE revenue streams with which to fleece us if they can’t demonstrate restraint with the ones we all ready have?? Giving them 3 more (potentially HUGE) revenue streams is like showing a crack addict a truck load of full of that stuff – the only problem in this case is that a surfeit of cash won’t kill the spendthrift politician (darn it). Why do you wish to make all of us sheep, ready for the slaughter??

      How about this – ramping down spending to, you know, actually meet revenues?

      I know – this SocCon had the veritable shakes as the tips tapped the keys thinking if I will burn in hell for quoting him. The message was right but the messenger all bad….
