"New Hampshire" "Republicans" for Something...Part II - Granite Grok

“New Hampshire” “Republicans” for Something…Part II

Back on March 28th I wrote a post in which I observed that the group New Hampshire Republican’s for Equality was run by a lobbyist and fueled with outside money just like all of it’s predecessors.   One commenter demanded to know why I had not pointed out that NOM was an out of state group and that it was fronting the group “New Hampshire Marriage.”

That’s a fair question.  I have what I believe to be a reasonable answer.

People who frequent my work can attest to the mountains of deception explored or uncovered when it comes to New Hampshire Democrats.  They will also be familiar with the infamous ramblings of a number of prominent left wing Democrats including Ray Buckley–the chairman of the New Hampshire Democrat party, and Democrat Governor John Lynch (along with many others), who became very vocal about the evil influence of “out of state money,” while they had themselves been bathing in it for years  and bringing in more of it while their mouths were flapping.

Since that time, I have taken every opportunity to rub it in their faces and the opportunities are numerous, continuous, and frequent.  The hypocrisy continues unabated.  New Hampshire Freedom to Marry, New Hampshire Republicans for Equality, Granite State Progress, Manchester Moving,  NH Citizens Alliance,  and a long list of other groups pretending to be unbiased, non-profits, or pro-centrist or pro Republican groups, all created and financed by progressives from places that are not New Hampshire (and all supportive of Gay Marriage, by the way, among other things).   In every instance there is a significant effort to deceive people by hiding their blue roots and New Hampshire Republicans for Equality is no different.

So what about the commenter and their inference regarding New Hampshire for Marriage, and the National Organization for Marriage?

When I Google ‘New Hampshire for Marriage, I get this:

Anyone doubt who is behind this site?

When I actually went to the web site, the first thing I see it this…

New Hampshire For Marriage page header

Then there is this page as well, where the first thing we see is this…

New Hampshire For Marriage run by NOM NH page header 2

Where is the deception?  There isn’t any, hence no reason to explore the real identity of the group or its financing.  We know it’s backed by a national group.  If we are not familiar they make it easy for us to figure it our with just one quick search.

But try the same thing with the Progressives fake centrist or so-called ‘Republican’ counterparts (like New Hampshire Republicans For Equality) and you’ll need a good deal of free time, perseverance, search skills, and a knowledge of the players to uncover a sliver of the truth.

Deception is a feature of Democrat politics, politicians, policies, agendas, their activists, and all the so-called non-profits that orbit them.   Transparency is their enemy, truth their foe.  They have to hide who they are, and they do.  End of story.
