Kathy Sullivan and the Destructive Democrats

The rallying cry of the Destructive Democrats

The Union Leader today had a column by super-Democrat Kathy Sullivan (she’s a member of their national committee and is former chairman of the NH Democrat Party). In it she attacked a proposed refugee moratorium in Manchester, Mayor Gatsas, and those who support the idea.

All that is fine by me…but then the dishonest old socialist (is there any other kind?) went after the Freestaters.

And that got my hackles up….

Here’s what she said: “And what about the Free Staters? When they announced their plan to move 20,000 people into New Hampshire to take over state and local government, then Gov. Craig Benson welcomed them warmly. It was a little surprising, since just a couple of years earlier their guru, Jason Sorens, wrote that the Free State project was the means to the end of having a state secede from the United States. Seceding from the United States would cause a much bigger problem, and a lot more inconvenience, for the rest of us living in the Granite State than welcoming 400 or 500 refugees into our state each year.”

Thankfully, the Union Leader allows commentary after their articles and columns. In this case there were some Democrat moles repeating the lies about Republicans want to harm Medicare (I don’t want to harm it; I just want to end it so we can go to a normal, rational, market-based healthcare system)…so here’s what I said in response to both of the dastardly attacks:

“Anyone who wants to see how and why the Destructive Democrats are meddling with Medicare can look at today’s Wall Street Journal editorial entitled “Medicare’s Obama Donation, an $8.35 billion ‘demonstration’ to get past November.” I swear. Are there ANY Democrats today who don’t lie and mislead everyone for their own political gain? I’m not saying all Republicans are good; there are bad ones too (because they resemble Democrats). But there don’t seem to be any decent Democrats left. This is why we all need to tell our friends, neighbors, and families to vote Republican in November, to keep the New Hampshire GOP majorities in Concord. Bill O’Brien and the other Republican leaders have accomplished miracles after being left with a government fiscal and taxing disaster by the Democrats…who naturally have fought against the needed reforms every inch of the way.Oh yeah. One other thing for Kathy Sullivan: I’m a Freestater. I have never supported or advocated secession. Jason Sorens is my friend and not a “guru” as you falsely label him. And I have never asked for a penny of money from the state government or taxpayers of New Hampshire. I work and support my family, which is more than we can say for many who continue blindly voting for the ‘Destructive Democrats’.”
