Speaking of being timid – where the heck was the NH GOP last week (MIA again?)

NH GOPOh, of course!  It was a social issue!  Given that the Country Clubbers have thrown the grassroots under the bus (hmmm, guess who else throws the “politically incorrect” under the bus to protect himself?), I was not surprised to hear that no one saw any formal representation from the NH GOP (or the Exec Board, save Phyllis Woods) standing up for one of the Planks of the Party – traditional marriage as encapsulated by HB 437.  Political cowardness, or an indication of what might be coming at the Annual Meeting?

Whatsa matter, you weenies?

Nothing in the latest NH GOP Weekly newsletter (Yes, Senator Kelly has the cojones to stand up – but where’s the Chair or the Vice-Chairs?)?  Or the week before? Nor the week before that?  No other presser that I received from Tory Mazzola either (Exec Dir).  Social issues?  Verbotten, I guess.  Yet, it is always true that social issues have fiscal costs.  So who is being short-sighted by ignoring what is going on in the State?

Isn’t the Republican Party all about the Constitution?  Hey slackers,  the brouhaha that Obama has unleashed over Religious Freedom?  Yeah, part of the Constitution, and trust me, it applies here in NH as well as in DC.  Or are you going to ignore that, too?  And trust me, there will be far more than a fiscal cost if you continue just to hunker down in your bunker in Concord!
