A response to Peter Burling’s support of an invisible bill

Democrat Peter Burling is an ex-NH State Rep and Senator and is part of the NH Rail Transit Authority (you know, that scheme that would allow a few 19th Century enamored types to still indulge in riding their fantasy choo-choos at taxpayer expense while strutting like Euro-elites).  With his letter in the Concord Monitor, he also demonstrates his membership in the Nancy Pelosi dim-witted brand of governance:

  • Read TOTUS as if you were relevant as you gYABS (give Yet Another Big Speech) with your head swiveling like you were at a ping pong match in front of 500 folks who could care less (they’ve seen this movie before).
  • Throw some words together like monkeys at typewriters, screaming "PASS THIS BILL" a few dozen times and pounding the podium a few times to make it look important
  • Send the actual bill, finally, to Congress, and demagogue that they have still failed to pass it (that afternoon, of course)
  • Then proudly proclaim "Pass the bill so we can see what’s in it"!

Why do I say all this? At the time of his writing this Letter AND the Concord Monitor blindly publishing it ("Exciting Plan"), there was no bill, the monkeys were still sleeping, the words were barely eye gleams, but true to form, the Screaming has already begun for a bill that didn’t exist.

The president’s plan for jobs in America is one of the most exciting and important things to happen in this country since our economy began to fail in 2008.

We need to get this country back to work. The president has laid out a proposal based on ideas espoused by both Republicans and Democrats, and Congress should pass it now. Our congressional delegation should vote to make it law. Just saying "no" won’t cut it any more. The same goes for the people who are running for office here in New Hampshire: Let’s come together behind our president’s plan.

Please use the power of the Monitor editorial page to back the American Jobs Act. We need to act on this right away.

PETER HOE BURLING

So, we have no idea what’s in it, we have no idea who is going to get the money (other than government employees), and we have no idea of any of the nice "goodies" that have been sprinkled inside for the politically connected (you can be sure that Gibson Guitar is not going to get it’s stuff back, and we might even find out that BATF’s officials,  involved in the official gunrunning "Fast and Furious" episode that is giving Mexican drug cartels weapons that have been used to kill US Border agents, might well be getting Presidential Pardons).

We just don’t know what’s there!  But you can be sure, Peter is willing to bet our bottom (last?) dollar it’s good for us!

Oh Peter, you moonbat! Why not just use that money, another $477 Billion Chinese dollars, and give it to each individual that is still unemployed – $32,000 each.  Heck, with an average around $180,000 for each job created by Porkulus I and II already, this would be a bargain!
