it’s all about the mean. I listened to the Ray Stevens video that Tim posted, and near the end of the video, this line caught my ear:
"Once you renounce any sense of decency, it gets easier and easier!"
Which, given the topic and butt of the video and adding in Rick’s post, translates as
1) Selfishness – the Dependent / Ward of the State: My needs trumps your means.
2) Totalitarianism – the Politician: My ends trumps your means to feed the need.
Put them together and #1 & #2 mean this: you’re just mean (if you complain). Yeah, so what else is new…they just want me to believe their meme that paying taxes is the same thing as individual charity. Have they no decency?
