“Remember that a government big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything you have.” ~Barry Goldwater
The RINO of the week is Nottingham House Representative Frank Case. This week features a Republican whose voting record shows frequent opposition to conservative values and resistance to liberty. Representative Case frequently votes against family, liberty and principles of freedom. His record is one that demonstrates moderate fealty to liberal-progressive concepts.
Highlights of his record include:
- Opposition to Right to Work;
- Opposition to Parental Notification;
- Opposition to expanding the death penalty in cases of murders committed during home invasions (Kimberly Cates Bill).
- Opposing a mandate where confiscated property would have to be returned by law enforcement upon dismissal, acquittal or nol-prosequii cases;
- Opposed defunding New Hampshire Public Television
No elected member is going to support each and every bill. People are fair-minded and understand that reality. But Representative Case’s voting record shows a clear consistent record of voting against the principles of limited government, liberty and freedom and for that he is the “RINO of the week.”
