ACTION ALERT!
Several important floor votes are occurring this week:

Budget bills HB 1 and HB 2 are on the house floor this week. Rep. Kurk offered an amendment to HB 2 ending collective bargaining for public worker unions when their current contracts expire and replacing it with at-will employment, and also eliminating evergreen clauses. Unions and intermittently unruly activists packed the house this past week in opposition to this initiative. E-mail hreps@leg.state.nh.us to support the Kurk amendment to HB 2.

Please e-mail hreps@leg.state.nh.us to support HB 519 (repeals NH’s Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative CO2 cap and trade program) and HB 590(relating to unconstitutional federal grants-in-aid). Both bills were voted OTP (Ought To Pass) in committee.

HB 292 would make the business environment more hostile in New Hampshire. It would increase penalties for people who do business without a license; this will increase costs to taxpayers without any gain to them. This bill will be a battle because it made it out of committee OTP 10-6. Please e-mail hreps@leg.state.nh.us to oppose HB 292.
