Define Irony For Me

The government run schools are concerned about making sure students get some kind of an education in personal finance and economics.

Yeah, that’s actually very funny.  And if you didn’t get it, let me explain it another way.

What this actually means in that the education-industrial complex would like to pay for more teachers, with smaller classrooms no doubt, so that government employees (who tend to be pro-union and pro democrat ideologically) can teach your children the finer points of good spending habits.

Funniest thing I’ve heard since someone read to me the member states of the UN council on Human Rights.  Almost as humorous as picturing MooMar G-Daffy as a personal life coach, specializing in "can’t we just all get along" seminars.

Government employees teaching good finance skills?  Really?  I know a civics teacher who thinks Obama is a good president.  I know an language Arts Teacher (that’s English class for you folks without kids), who preached global warming.  We are still using "Everyday Math."

Government teaching economics?

There is an economic lesson to be had here.  Save the taxpayers some money and shrink the curriculum back to where it was before the invention of the Bureau of Nationalist Education down in DC.  Nothing we’ve done since then has made it better (for anyone but unions and democrat candidates who spend their dues money to get elected).
