Ray Buckley's Norman Rockwell - Granite Grok

Ray Buckley’s Norman Rockwell

This morning’s Union leader has the Lasky snatch-and-grab photo on the front page.  Elliot Lasky, (Husband of State Senator Bette Lasky) stands mid-stride, stolen campaign property in hand.

Add one of those small, curly-white haired yippy dogs on a short leash, a classic, well worn Brindisi Bent Churchwarden pipe clung between slightly tobacco stained teeth–soft white plumes of apple-scented smoke trailing intermittently in his wake–and we could be looking at a real-life portrait, right off the Democrat equivalent of a Norman Rockwell Calendar.  (That’s October.  September was brick tossers at the last global summit, August is the SEIU beating up a helpless black man, and November is a guy you can’t quite see, alone in a big empty forest wearing a white T-shirt with a blue circle on it with a ‘D’ in the middle.  Supplies are limited, but you can pick them up off the ground after any recent left-wing “rally.”)

And the caption for this slice of left-wing “Americana?”  “No charges filed.”

The Nashua police do not plan to arrest or charge Elliot.

Ray Buckley, New Hampshire Democrat Party apologist when and only when it is politically expedient to do so, is quoted in the same UL article, regarding Elliot’s “mental state.”

“After weeks of constant smears and attacks by his wife’s opponent, Gary Lambert, his frustration got the best of him.”

So he became “unhinged then?”  An angry mob of one?  Should we expect soon-to-be-former-congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter to call him something derogatory like ass-monkey?  (Teabagger is after all, taken.)

Ray again,

“This afternoon, I spoke to Dr. Lasky and he expressed to me deep regret for his actions..”

Deep regret at getting caught.

The smear, by the way, were signs that claimed Bette Lasky meant higher taxes. Sounds like truth in advertising.

Maybe Ray should perform an intervention and remind Mr. Lasky that the Democrat party is in fact ‘In favor of’ higher taxes.  It is, after all, the only way to pay for more government. Or, are we now to believe that the Democrats no longer favor ‘more government?’

Perhaps Elliot still believes the Stimulus-Fairy will come and leave 800 million under the statehouse pillow if we put a copy of the structural deficit under there?

Lasky does equal taxes. And now it also equals criminal behavior.  Priceless.
