*I* am the Biggest Extremist! - Granite Grok

*I* am the Biggest Extremist!

This is getting to be just too funny!  Remember that Steve put up the information about the new Democrat online venture:  Extreme 16 (here and here).  It is all about the Democrat Party trying to make it amusing to pick the most extreme Republican for the November 2 election.

What ANGER this has become on the Republican side!  Grumbling, harsh words, rolled eyes – every politician that I talked to, every person involved in politics one way or another that I yakked with last night is ticked!  You wanna know why?

THAT THEY GOT LEFT OFF THE LIST!

Well, one of our "part-time" Groksters, Ed Mosca (who has been on an absolute tear the last few days!) decided to complain:

Subject: Extreme 16 — What were you two thinking?????????

Dear Mary Jane and Marj:

I am dismayed, insulted and shocked by my exclusion from the “Extreme 16.”  What were you two possibly thinking when you left me out?  I am much, much, much more extreme, by your definition of extreme, than anyone on that so-called list of extremists.  Let me give you just a few examples:

1.  I do not believe that government should force anyone, either directly through an “individual mandate” or indirectly through coverage mandates, to purchase any type of health insurance coverage that he or she does not want to purchase.

2. I do not believe that it is the role of judges to invent new constitutional rights or to ignore existing constitutional rights in order to achieve “social justice” or a “living constitution,” or any other of the lovely euphemisms you ”progressives” use to attempt to legitimize  judicial activism.

3.  I do not believe that the people of New Hampshire are under-taxed.  I believe you and your collectivist cronies in Concord have proven yourselves thoroughly incapable of exercising even a modicum of fiscal responsibility.

I trust that I have, in your eyes, established my extremist bona fides.  Now do the right thing and put me on the “Extreme 16.”  Thank you.

Well, let’s just say that since he broadcast that out, others, including myself, are now petitioning (nay, DEMANDING!) to be added!  In fact, Bob Mead weighed in (but don’t believe him OR Ed – I have earned that title!):

I agree completely with Ed that he should be included on your list, but you should also include me because I am much, much, much, much, more extreme than Ed. Your list should now be renamed the  "Extreme 18"

Thank you for your reconsideration.

Well, I could no longer countenance these insipid, fraudulent, and absurd claims – after all, I can easily best them all!  I therefore, being of sound mind and body (er, mostly, for both, most of the time) addressed the lack of appropriate recognition:

OK, guys, stop fighting over this….as I have PROVEN, with over 3,000 posts on GraniteGrok (NH’s LEADING Conservative blogsite!) on just about every issue and topic, that I am "just" to the Left of Atilla the Hun; Rush Limbaugh envies my stances, poor Hannity  can only WISH that he was as extreme as I am, and the Beckster keeps crying about losing out.  Extreme?  You two PALE in consideration!

So, ladies?  Just clear deck of these other wannabees – after all, even the NH Democrat Party apparatchik declared that we ARE the go-to site for the rest of the State’s Right!

Gentlemen?  Move off to the side, please.

Kindest Regards,

Ah, but the story does not end there, as it Rightfully should have!  These poor self-delusional "faux" extremists just could not accept their limitations and continued to offer supplications to the "Extreme Controllers"; Ed got down on his knees (forgetting ye olde kneepads):

It has come to my attention that certain imposters and pretenders have had the chutzpah to contact you and challenge my claim to be the most extreme of the extreme.

They leave me no choice but to make my case even more forcefully.  I suggest you two grab your smelling salts, because you may well need them, after this further example of my extremism.

4.  I thought Clarence Thomas’ concurrence in the McDonald case was thoughtful and well-written.

Well, this merited an appropriate response toward this usurper of my well deserved title:

With all necessary due respect;

Trump this, lawyer boy!  I’m just lovin’ and all over that that Citizen’s United decision (with the Heller as a side dish).  After all, forget case law and just concentrate on the primary source:

"Congress shall make NO law….";

Even a simple minded blogger such as I (clinging oh so dearly to my religion and guns)  can understand this!  And being one of the co-founding members of the NH TEA Party Coalition, the Democrat Party (national, New Hampshire, and pretty much any other Democrat / Progressive / Socialist) has already certified me as "extremist" (mostly because I actually read and accept, on face value, the Constitution and the Founders First Principle philosophy that my Rights come from our Creator and not from mere politicians [such a blasphemy to stolid Progressives).  I merely stand patiently to collect my honored title.

So, Madams Smith and Wallner, do I rate as your "Number 1"?    Nay, I DEMAND my prize!  I say dismiss all of these mere poseurs out of hand and at once!

I bet the protestations shall continue….
