Did Ray ‘Fidel’ Buckley Blow It?

Just to make sure everyone knows that Ray Buckley had a hand in the creation of what appears to be one of the best Republican get out the vote and campaign motivators to come along in recent weeks, here’s his stamp of approval.  (We’re talking about the Extreme 16 Web site by the way)

(On the jump)

Dear New Hampshire Democrat,

New Hampshire Republicans have been running farther and farther to the extreme right fringe of their party. Today we launched a new website to hold those GOP candidates accountable for the outrageous positions they’ve adopted.

Visit www.extreme16nh.com and help us decide who the most extreme Republican candidate on the ballot is this year.

After the September 14th primary, the GOP nominated some absolutely out of touch candidates to represent them in the general election. And out all of those hundreds of candidates, we picked the most Extreme Sixteen Republican House candidates on the ballot this fall.

From constitutional amendments making the state powerless to stop child abuse to resolutions supporting secession from the United States of America – from opposing any education standards for home schooled students, to bigoted and hateful rants on the House floor – these GOP House candidates have voted for and are supporting some crazy pieces of legislation.

Who is the most out of touch? We couldn’t decide, each of these Republicans have some off-the-wall ideas that appeal only to the radical fringe of their party.

But you can – tell us who you think is the most radical of all the Republicans running for the House this year. Every few days we will update the bracket and move on to the next rounds, highlighting the pure crazy in the New Hampshire Republican Party.

Best,
Ray

So has Ray misjudged the effect?  I think he has.  What was supposed to work as a brush fire for voter turn out on the left has electrified the right.  It’s re-motivating Buckley’s opposition even more, just weeks before the election.  And it’s obvious the liberal socialist mouth breathers did not spend to much time thinking about this list because there are dozens of Republicans asking why they are not on the list.  Not to mention the surreal effort to frame the extremism with what amounts to complete and utter nonsense.

So has the democrat leadership been spending too much time re-breathing their own CO2?  Yup.  But then limiting your intellectual diet to the delusion of the Obama cult of personality, supported by the inanity of  PMSNBC, and then believing a majority of anyone outside your tiny little fringy circle of socialist wackos can be turned to the dark side of the force if you simply fix your messaging problem, is a recipe for much needed failure.

The liberal agenda is not all that popular outside little Cuba, aka-The NHDP HQ, and it’s about time they learned that.
