Live Blogging! – An event concerning the 10th Amendment in Hollis tonite

Tenth Amendment Center
Jack For NH Governor

The ‘Grok will be at the  Lawrence Barn in Hollis, NH (28 Depot Street) for an event where Jack Kimball for NH Governor will be hosting Michael Boldin (the Founder of the Tenth Amendment Center) will be speaking concerning this:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

The event starts at 6:30pm; light refreshments will be provided.

The 10th Amendment; You know the part so long ignored, the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution,  that has the Constitution be a Limited document vs a Living document (as the Progressives would have you believe so that they can pay lip service to it, say the right words to it, and govern away from it [for their definition of "progress" is moving from First Principles).

At first, we were just asked to cover the event.  Well, Murphy’s Laws has kinda pushed us into being PART of the event.  The original text of this post was to include this:

America’s top ‘Tenther’ jets into New Hampshire

Founder of America’s Tenth Amendment Center Michael Boldin is jetting into New Hampshire from California this weekend to speak at a special event to be held at Lawrence Barn, Hollis on Saturday, August 7.

The trip has been arranged through NH Gov. candidate Jack Kimball who believes that the 10th Amendment is arguably the most important within the Constitution.

Jack says: “Everyone who knows me understands that I am passionate about upholding the entire Constitution. But it has never been more important for States to stand their ground and face up to the gradual erosion of our State Sovereignty by the Federal Government.”

Michael Boldin has spoken at many events across America including several Tea Party rallies and is excited at finally making it to the home of the USA’s first Primaries.

“We have wanted to bring our message to New Hampshire for some time, but this is the first real chance we have had. This State has a special place in the country’s political landscape and it’s people have a fine reputation as keen Constitutionalists.”

Since the Tenth Amendment Center was set up it has won national recognition for its work in encouraging individual States to remember their Sovereignty and to resist inappropriate interference from the Federal Government.

The FREE event runs from 6.30- 9p and refreshments will be available.

Well, because of a number of complications, events, travel plans gone awry,  Michael Boldin will not actually be physically in the building.  However, with a last minute race of stitching together a  hodgepodge of off-the-shelf technology being rushed into the breech, the ‘Grok will hopefully be an integral part of pulling this event off well with the use of ad hoc live streams to provide a  presence where we will be able to see and hear Michael.  Hopefully, things will turn out right – especially the latest news is that the superb PA system that was to be used is now in a locked car in a locked repair garage that was supposed to be open today.

I AM a walking instance of Murphy’s Laws!
