Elena Kagan – US Senator from NH Judd Gregg’s enduring legacy to the Constitution

He voted. For her.  Today.

Judd Gregg: "During this process, Ms. Kagan has pledged that she will exercise judicial restraint and decide each case that comes before her based on the law, with objectivity and without regard to her personal views. She also has served the American people under two different administrations and has a strong legal academic background. She is qualified to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court."

Yeah, that pledge and a buck will buy me a donut.  I can’t believe that ANYONE actually believes that Kagan will be ANYTHING but a dispassionate jurist.  Judd is no dummy – but the word "fool" is bubbling up for this decision; SCOTUS is as political as the House or the Senate or the White House and he just voted for one of the most Liberal Justices EVAH!  I’ll be hearing about Kagan for the next 30 years.

And I’ll never forget, when Kagan is the vote against the Founders meaning of the Constitution, what Gregg has done today.

Legacy; such a deal.

And I’m really wondering if Kelly Ayotte thinks that her mentor in this race has done a good deal.

Oh yeah, that’s right – she would have voted for Sotomayor…

Peas.  Pod.

Maalox, please.
