A Question for Bob Giuda…

Giuda_third.jpg

Bob Giuda has been running on the mantra, "I have the legislative experience, I’m the only one who knows the system".

Ok, well, I’m not sure that THAT’s the platform you really want to run on this year (or highlighting a debate moment when Charlie Bass agreed with you @ 2:15), but let’s go along with that notion, for the sake of argument.

All that said, I need to ask this important question: "Why would a State Representative be excused or absent (unexcused) from an average of 30% of his roll call votes over a TWO year period?"

Two years is an entire house term in New Hampshire or in the US Congress.  Is that part of "knowing the system?"

For the record, Obama voted "Present" 129 times, as a member of the Illinois State Senate, which only represented a little over 3% of his votes…

Here are the facts for consumption:

2006
YEA Votes = 70 (36.27%)
NAY Votes = 59 (30.57%)
Excused/Absent Votes = 52 excused/12 not excused (33.16%)

2005
YEA Votes = 48 (36.36%)
NAY Votes = 47 (35.61%)
Excused/Absent Votes = 30 excused/7 not excused (28.03%)

My followup question would be, "why did you miss 82 votes/excused, and 19 votes/unexcused?"

The town of Warren only got two-thirds-of-a-Bob-Giuda for those two years.  What would New Hampshire’s 2nd District get, if ever he managed to win this primary, and the general election?

I’m just asking, based on the facts I see (not an edited subset –> the entire set of votes).

As Glenn Beck says, "you have my number" (I just don’t have a shiny red phone)
