Good Ol’ Two Face

June 24th 2010  Today, Paul Hodes fought to end the influence that corporate and foreign special interests have in American elections by supporting the DISCLOSE Act.

July 13th 2010 Paul Hodes’ Senate campaign confirmed that "yes, Paul did attend" the weekend fundraiser hosted by trial lawyers in Vancouver, British Columbia.

June 24th 2010 "New Hampshire’s elections should be decided by the people of New Hampshire," said Hodes. "Right now, the law allows foreign and corporate interests to funnel millions of their unregulated, special interest dollars into our elections.

July 13th 2010 This weekend run to Canada could be embarrassing for Hodes, given his claim (made while celebrating the DISCLOSE Act’s passage) that he "[fights] to end the influence that corporate and foreign special interests have in American elections."

June 24th 2010 In addition to making it illegal for foreign corporations with US subsidiaries to spend any money in US elections, the DISCLOSE Act will impose tough new transparency and accountability standards on all corporate campaign expenditures.

Now I’m torn.  I really like the nickname Paul ‘Sugar Daddy’ Hodes,  But Paul ‘Two-Face’ Hodes has that certain something…

And if it matters Lawyers were already Hodes biggest contributor.
