Regular readers of the ‘Grok have hopefully seen the change in what has been posted the last few months. While I am thankful for folks that have offered aid in posting (e.g., Andrew, Angus, Anne Marie, Bob, The Mechanic, and Tim), I’m still the one responsible for the outlook and tone for most of the posts.
And yes, the tone has changed a bit over the last few months. My emphasis has changed – a bit more serious, more focused on TEA Party movement and what it stands for, and viewing all things politic from the stance of Liberty and Freedom. Those last two values and principals are what this country was founded on, over which wars were fought, and for which brave men and women sacrificed their lives and their families over these last couple centuries. The freedom to live as one wanted and make the choices best for them and their families.
And for a while, I shied away from blogging on a lot of politics writ small here in NH and stayed with the larger context. That time, if you haven’t noticed lately, has passed. Why?
With election drawing neigh, I refuse to let the Progressives, with their nonsense that freedom is without cost or responsibility, their benighted ideas that by taking to give to others and having Government allow which choices we as free men may have, win these battles.
The ‘Grok will be spotlighting those candidates, over the next few weeks and months, that I think deserve your attention and, eventually, your vote. They have (or are, depending on their political experience) showing a commitment similar to that of the ‘Grok’s vision of limited government, fiscal frugality, a hard fast love of the Constitution as written, and self-responsibility with other values as well. And certainly the ‘Grok will certainly call out all those that do not fit this mold.
Congressional, Senatorial, Gubernatorial, NH Senate, NH House – you bet!
Politics writ NH small – let’s go!
