A Startling Admission from a high ranking Democrat – the Progressive Admission Part 1

by Skip

Madame Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, upon being questioned about the Democrat loss to Scott Brown as the next holder of the "Teddy Kennedy" Senate seat (and touching upon the foundational doctrine of Federalism in the process):

"Massachusetts has health care. … The rest of the country would like to have that too," Pelosi, D-Calif., said. "So we don’t say a state that already has health care should determine whether the rest of the country should."

Are you as startled as I am about the "between the lines" message here by Pelosi? How about either the total lack of foundational knowledge of how civics in the US is supposed to work, or the total disdain if she knows?  Or, the ongoing hubris that a select group of Progressives should be able to change it – and have been stopped at the pass (in no small measure) by a gaggle of independents, conservatives, libertarians, TEA Party types (and yes, members of her own Party that still believe in basic America political beliefs)?

More later….but here’s a more HAPPY scene from the Scott Brown campaign Victory Party (courtesy of Grant at NH Watchdog):
