So, how's that Democrat Stimulus program workin' out fer us, eh?

I thought that Obama's promise was that the Stimulus was supposed to cap unemployment at around 8%?

Democrat Unemployment

Remember, he's never run anything before in his life - and he's voting only "Present" on this issue...

Yeah, unemployment...unfortunately I'm one of many without a job at the moment (a federal gov't position) and vigorously in search on one. So much for my "saved" or "created" job with the feds. With a wealth of experience in many managerial areas in both the public and private sectors and starting and creating my own successful business years ago (sold it for a substantial profit), and even with my personnel file from the feds containing outstanding performance reports from my superiors, unfortunately there's still alot of discrimination in hiring for someone in my age bracket...nearing 60. Of course, "they'd" say that's not why I'm not offered a job, (hmmm...offered one? I don't even get the courtesy of a rejection letter) but anyone knows age-discrimination is a huge factor. But, what's more disturbing is that I've filed for unemployment benefits going on my 7th week and still haven't rec'd a check. After numerous emails and phone calls over the weeks, I keep getting the same answer that even though my status says "pending" there's no reason why I'm not getting a weekly check. But, does anybody do anything to solve the issue? No! Then I even had to put up recently with a young-sounding smart ass girl on the phone who obviously shouldn't be working anywhere after making the comment very sarcastically and with alot of nasty attitude: "that's why I sometimes like my job." She's working, and I'm not....go figure? I did ask to speak to her supervisor who was all over himself apologizing. But did he solve the problem either? No! Well, heck it's only been 3 weeks since then. So, this is the "state" level of competency so what do you think is going to happen at the federal level when they start running our health care? Trust me, there's more incompetency at the federal level than even in our state. Yeah, I know it's hard to believe our well-liked esteemed Governor doesn't have a better handle on things. Gee, I already feel better having vented some of my frustration. It's time to call and send another email to NH Employment Security. Tah, tah for now.
Um... where's the disclaimer that mentions that bar graph isn't to scale? Scary when it looks like it's gone up 250% when the reality is around a tenth of that? If you want to cite facts, cite facts -- I'm good with that. Fearmongering and propaganda, not so much.
