Video & Pix – Rochester Republican GOP meeting

OK, I did do a live blog of the Rochester GOP – I had taken some video with the Flip cam that should be better quality than the UStream (more of a function of my webcam rather than of UStream – I smell a new gadget toy coming soon….).

Anyways, I had been invited to catch Saul Anuzis, so let’s put the interview (a REAL quick one because of lack of time) of Saul up – topics were the new GOP.com website and his take on NY-23:

I also recorded Jack Kimball, who is seeking the Republican nomination for Gov here in NH, as he happened to be at the meeting as well.

Of course, Saul also spoke to the assembled group – Phyllis Woods, NH GOP’s National Committee Woman did the intro (Dang, she’s at EVERY GOP event that I seem to find myself – a regular Energizer Bunny for the NH GOP):

Best thing (shhh – he reads the ‘Grok a lot – Thanks!). Best line written? He quotes Jack Kimball:

And then he explains his primary motivation for wanting to be governor:

"I fear for my country and my state. … And the other reason I’m doing it is I know what to do when I get there. I believe in lower spending and tax cuts. I believe if you cut taxes, you will stimulate the economy, the local economy as well. You create more business, you create more jobs."
