TAX SUMMIT PROTEST RALLY WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY

Low Taxes are the result of low spending

On Wednesday and Thursday this week, Oct 21-22, there will be a chance to show your concern with the Tax and Spend crowd in Concord.

What is a "Tax Summit?"  Tax and spend proponents who have salivated for broad-based taxes in NH for years want to try to sell all the reasons why they feel the need control our economy and wages from on high in Concord.  They want to give the same old tired reasons to climb aboard the "income tax express" despite other income tax states that are living with huge deficits and crushing taxation.

But, our tax and spend pals want to do this in a managed forum - sound familiar?

The public - who pay for the buildings the "summit" will be in, are not allowed to comment. So what can you do?  The New Hampshire Tea Party Coalition is calling on all concerned citizens to join with us as we assemble at the State House to ensure we can put some eyeballs on the tax and spenders if they will not let us speak in our own house! Set aside some time - however long or short - to come and join us either Wednesday or Thursday for a little pro-NH advantage activism of our own!  A handful of activists killed the income tax back in 2000 and we can do it again if we show legislators we are serious. We are counting on the continued and unprecedented support of grass-roots activists to make this rally a success as well!

Optimum Times for Us to Gather across the street from the Legislative Office Building (107 North Main Street, Concord):

Wednesday from 8:30-9:30, 11:30-1:00, and 3:30-4:30
Thursday from 8:30-9:30, 11:30-1:00, and 2:30-3:00

Actual Time of Summit Event:
Wednesday - Oct 21 from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM in LOB 202-4
Thursday - Oct 22 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM in LOB 206-8

BRING SIGNS with APPROPRIATE and CONCISE ANTI-BROADBASED TAX Messages! We wish to catch them going in, going to lunch, and leaving. There will be large red lapel stickers available for those who do go inside to monitor the event.  The rooms do not hold many and you won't be able to carry your sign inside or speak, so we recommend being outside.

IF YOU CAN'T ATTEND, YOU CAN STILL CALL/WRITE THE TAX SUMMIT ORGANIZERS:
