Roland Mahue came in for an entire hour to talk local politics - Laconia municipal elections are coming up soon and he is running for the Laconia School Board. While some of the issues may SOUND like they are just germane to Laconia, we believe they are the same issues that anyone is facing across the country. Add to that - most conservatives believe that the educational system is one of the main reasons the country is heading in the bad direction that it is - and he is out to change it (and MTNP / GraniteGrok asks other conservatives to start to "go back to school" as well).

Phelim McAleer, producer and director of Not Evil, Just Wrong, joins Doug and Skip to talk about his run in with Al Gore and how it showed up the sorry state of Journalism. We also talk about Freedom and Liberty, and how the environment movement is not concerned with either of those concepts.
