Jettiness – a Jet Powered Merry-go-round?

Hmm, maybe the drought of wacky Jet stuff is breaking!

Actually, this post title is a bit misleading – this really is not quite the Merry-Go-Round or carousel that you might think of with wooden horses going up and down with calliope music sounding it.  Rather, more like the Flying Scooter amusement ride:

 like those I rode when younger at Canobie Park in NH (look for the Flying Roosters pic).  Round and round it goes with a swivel on top and the front "fin" allows the rider to deflect the oncoming air stream to make the "scooter" twist on its Y axis by virtue of the swivel on the top and allow the unit to "move in and out" of the circle of the ride.

Can I try?
