Multiple sources, including James Pindell at NHPoliticalReport.com, are telling GraniteGrok that our Congresswoman Carol Shea Porter has finally set up some town hall meetings where she will actually meet with real live constituents face to face.

And wouldn't you know it-- RIGHT AT THE SAME TIME THE GRASS ROOTS COMMUNITY OF NH IS SCHEDULED TO GATHER AT A FUNDRAISER/PICNIC FOR THE NEW HAMPSHIRE ADVANTAGE COALITION!

Tell me these people aren't cagey about how they go about "engaging" the people they're supposed to represent. This either wreaks havok on attendance at the fundraiser event, thus damaging an effective and active Granite State group, or it prevents some of the state's most outspoken and well-versed opposition to Carol's representation from taking her on. Have they no shame? Like Hodes- he's having an event Monday at a UNION HALL! Yeah, like anyone's gonna risk getting their teeth knocked out to dare display any voice of opposition. You've got to admit- these Democrats that represent us are GOOD. At the artful dodge...

It is important that these town halls are held even if they are creative about how and when. Their creativity reveals that they are hearing the message and the have to be thinking twice, maybe three times about the impact of their votes on their next election. The only inappropriate label is "Grade A". The lady is "pasteurized" by her party of impure thoughts once she got to Washington, and "homogenized" with their ideology. Her constituents should keep her "refrigerated", and put her out to pasture next year.

Her training is as a social worker (I am one of the few conservative social workers left), which supposedly emphasises getting everyone together to talk about things but in reality, she is very used to doing things to people without their permission and informing them about it later. In their world "stakeholders" abound who get a chance to give input, but the people paying for it all are an annoyance.

Why do you need or even want to have your congress critter show up at a town hall meeting?

Take control of the issues. Have your own meetings to decide what you want instead of responding to what they're planning. Then tell her what you want.

The only thing that scares a congress critter more than watching a parade pass by is finding out about it after it occurred.

We ELECT Representatives to VOTE our views in CONGRESS. We don't need the DNC or RNC to use OUR money to BUY votes. Citizens MUST TAKE BACK THEIR COUNTRY. Hold YOUR OWN Town Hall meetings. Don't invite the incumbent if they vote party over constituents. Invite their opposition. Better yet, hold a citizen's PERFORMANCE REVIEW of your elected officials. Include Federal, State, and Local officials as well. You get a performance appraisal at work - why not Congress, State and Local officials as well. It's time loudmouth activists are pushed off the stage to let REAL CITIZENS speak for themselves. Cancel all media subscriptions until 2010 election is over. That will insure a more fair election. It will help to eliminate those who don't contribute to growing GDP. BLOG, TEXT, FAX, TWIT, CALL, WRITE, REBEL!
