Both the Gallup and Rasmussen tracking polls are showing that Obama is losing, not just momentum" but the American people. Both are now below 50% approval. This by Rasmussen shows that the extremes (which on both the Right and the Left tend to mold opinion) are moving in ways not good for this Socialist President:
Caveat: yes, one can quibble about how the polls are taken (and I am not a professional statistician – or even an amateur one). Note, however, that the polls are fairly consistently done and over the long term, can give reasonable direction as to how perception is changing
With the American people starting to see the "counter-American-philosophy" of many of his initiatives, their starting point exclamations of "huh (what the heck is this)?" have now gone past the "uh-oh (his solution is starting to be a worse problem)? and severely degrading to "oh no you don’t"!
Most politicans are not stupid (at least, not entirely). The assumption is the following – the Number 1 job for most professional politicians is to get re-elected. The question is – if this trend keeps up (er, down?) for the Obama and the Democrat leadership, what are the foot soldier politicians going to do? And when?
Whether the collectivists like it or not, the Primary Politician Concern will kick in after a little while longer: is my support for them gonna keep me from getting re-elected (or seek higher office)?
I predict that IF the Cap N Tax and the Healthcare Takeover bills pass, you’ll Dems pulling away from Obama and the leadership faster than the rats running down the hawsers from the Titanic…
