Obama lies through his teeth - the taxes edition

What the sense is it to promise full transparency when weasel wording are what you're spitting?  Obama told us that he wasn't going to raise taxes on those earning less than $250,000 / year.

Yeah, right.  Well, I already told you about these taxes on the oil companies - and you can bet your bottom dollar (which may well be the truth) that YOU and I will be paying those taxes - not the oil companies. I dunno about you, but I was REAL happy to see gas prices come way down.  Now, because Obama wants the energy (oil & coal) companies to fail, he wants us to pay for it! Thanks Obama!

It's another act of the Obama The Magician show - wave the hands and move the mouth over here while the real action is happening over there.  Like this - now, Obama is coming after our cell phones:

Under President Obama's budget submitted to lawmakers, wireless carriers such as Verizon, AT&T and Sprint would be hit with huge fees for the right to hold a spectrum license. The fee per carrier would be $50 million this year and eventually rise to $500 million per carrier, per year within a decade. Users fear carriers will add the new fee to phone bills.

Oh please - "users fear carriers will add the new fee to phone bills."!  Of COURSE they will!  It is a cost of business - there is absolutely NO way that companies are going to absorb this on their own.

End Result - Obama wants YOU to pay more for your cell phone every month.  Every month. The only redistribution here is taking your money and putting it into the Government pocket.

The Obama administration Feb. 26 proposed to tax wireless carriers as much as $550 million per year for the right to hold a spectrum license. The fee would be in addition to the billions carriers have already paid in spectrum auctions held by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

Under the budget outline provided by the Obama administration, the new fees would be used to help reduce the $1.7 trillion national deficit.

Anybody else getting the impression that the spending came first and now they are getting the "uh-ohs" on the financing side of this?  Yes sir, we ARE the government's ATM!
..."We will need to begin bringing down the budget deficit to avoid a fiscal crisis in the future.  So as we come out of the recession, and consistent with the President’s campaign proposals, the budget combines spending reductions and revenue increases," OMB Director Peter Orzag stated on the OMB blog. "The roughly $2 trillion in deficit reduction that the budget contains for the next decade is split evenly between spending reductions (of roughly $1 trillion) and revenue increases (of roughly $1 trillion)."

Now I know why the Obama Administration has halted the raiding of medical mary-jane shops - you know that they gotta be smoking something!
