OK, we are NOT becoming a car blog…but!

Since Doug and our good friend Jorge brought up "Who killed the electric car", and I had already talked about the Chevy Volt here, I decided to just add to the confusion. 

Yes Doug, there are cars that look sexy and can go far or fast that are electric.  While the Tesla will go fast (0 to 60 in 4 seconds, top speed of 125 miles / hour), go 244 miles / charge, and take as little as 3.5 hours to recharge.

 And cost about $109K

That said, I think I like this – the Aptera!

For $27K, it will go 120 miles on a single charge (all electric).  Next year, 300 mpg with a small gas engine.  Frankly, I like the cool factor:
