ACORN – Who, What, When, and Funding!

I have filed this under Prez Politics ’08 as ACORN and its "community action" program works pretty much for Liberal Democrats (even as they say they are "non-partisan"; a phrase that I am getting quite weary of). For 30 years, they have been enmeshed and embroiled in lawsuit after lawsuit with respect to illegal activities in signing up new voters.

They will have a material effect on this year’s elections.  And have you noticed?  All of their major pushes are solely in the swing states – those that can make a difference in who is elected in November! Right, non-partisan!

Our friends over at Ballotpedia have been together a great compendium of information on this organization from which Obama has been backpedaling.
