« Joe Biden and Obama -> Taxes = Charity | Main | Not bad NH, but can the current leaders stop the slide (I doubt it)? »

But He said he was a post-partisan, a new kind of politician

First they came after Kurtz on WGN, then they came for Freddoso (that is, Obama's campaign, who asked people to call in to call them liars - although they used public knowledgebases to assemble their information about Obama's past.  All of it verifiable).

Now they are coming for you:

Back in 2004, Democrats had trouble with their door-to-door voter-contact efforts, either by volunteers who traveled out of state (think those overbearing young Deaniacs who moved into Iowa to press Howard Dean's candidacy), or by paid staffers (think America Coming Together in Ohio and elsewhere).  Now, according to a new Associated Press account, Barack Obama is giving his supporters advice on how to best persuade fellow voters who might not have seen the light:

I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face…You are my ambassadors.

Sounds like a winner.

Got that?

I want you to argue with them and get in their face

Yeah, that'll persuade folks on the fence - sic an argumentative mob on them.  In your face, dissing you if you don't agree with you?  Will they try to shut you up and scream you down?

My response, on the other hand, is: Bring. It. On! This would be So. Much. Fun!

Oh yeah, that "post-partisan" promise?  Hardly and worthless.  Just because the candidate may not say it, if the campaign is, it is guilt by association.  Just like Obama's mentors and friends (Marshall, Ayers, Dohner, Alinsky)....
