Never mind those torpedoes... It's Meet the New Press!

damn torpedoes
Starting Saturday morning at 9 am!

.Pat Hynes                                  Skip Murphy                                  Doug Lambert

As usual, this week's broadcast version of GraniteGrok and AnkleBitingPundits brings an array of items and guests for your consideration-- ALL STARTING AT 9AM! As always, thanks to the technical wizardry and analytical skills of Skip, if you are beyond the broadcast area of Newstalk 1490 WEMJ, simply click here for instructions on how to connect and listen on the Internet via livestream. (Podcasts here)

"The way the public’s business is now conducted in Washington is both backward and corrupt. It suffers from short-term-it is, ad-hocism, trading access to power for money, and over-reaction in response to problems that are long-term, systematic and in need of co-deliberation with the public rather than knee-jerk actions."

His answers to the 'Grok Congressional Questionaire can be seen here.

  • Jean "Mike" Coutu will preview this year's Live Free or Die Rally which features, among other things, live music, camping, cannon blasts and, of course, political discourse. Sounds like our kind of event. Mike is a member of Citizens Alliance Against Creepy Government (CAACP) and is active in local government and promoting the use of the Right to Know law.

  • Frequent MTNP guest Jen Rubin contributes to the American Spectator, Human Events, Commentary Magazine.com's Contentions blog, along with a host of other excellent magazines, websites, and news organizations. Michelle Malkin linked to her Friday with regards to Obama's Winnie the Pooh School of Foreign Diplomacy. We'll tie that in with some discussion of McCain's latest TV ad drawing disinction between him and the Illinois Senator. We'll also discuss that New Yorker mag cover and whether it was simply satire, or the truth be told...

  • Matt Murphy of the Granite State Employee Freedom Coalition drops by the studio to discuss just that: employee freedom. He will explain that a private vote is the only way to ensure against intimidation, coercion, and deception; That so-called “card check” unionization is fundamentally wrong; And that the current unionization process, which is supervised by the National Labor Relations Board, is the best way to protect employees' freedom to make a decision free from pressure. Guess which of New Hampshire's candidates for the November US Senate seat is on the wrong side of these issues? (Hint: It's the one that's in the back pocket of big labor) Matt, while a new member and organizer of the Granite State Employees for Freedom Coalition, is a lifelong resident of Hampstead, New Hampshire.

Wow! It all starts at 9AM EST Saturday. Tune in if you're in Central NH at NewsTalk 1490AM WEMJ or live on the 'Net here... The best radio (in our humble opinions) anywhere...

Please, for the love of God and everything decent worth living for, allow a new picture of Pat "Hynsie" Hynes to be be displayed on the website. Pat looks like a startled Weimereiner Beetle during coitus interruptus.
