More on Jeremiah Wright – spiritual mentor to Barak Obama

Barak Obama Jeremiah Wright

To date, I’ve said little about the Barak meltdown that has been precipitated by his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright.  Yes, I am one of those that does not buy the denouncement by Barak of Reverend Wright, that he had, essentially, no clue as to the racist outlook and theology of the man who conducted his wedding ceremony, baptized his children, and to whom he listened to

for 20 years with Barak’s butt in the pew.

Twenty months would be a tad long in failing to realize that what was being spewed was just outright wrong.  Thus, we are left with the consideration of whether or not he is being advised by the wrong people and it does bring up the consideration of whether or not Barak’s judgement is sound (although after listening to Wright, it certainly goes a long way to deciphering the flag lapel pin flap).

However, over at Democrat = Socialist, we find a bit more about Rev. Wright that was not widely available.  It sure does fit in with the black liberation theology, doesn’t it:

What I find equally disturbing about Wright is his relationships with black racist fraternity’s. It’s been mentioned in a few places like;

I thought the Rev. Wrights demeanor and body language was unprofessional and unapologetic. During the question and answer session of the press conference, he reacted like someone who didn’t know there were cameras recording his actions. After answering a question of his patriotism, he stepped back from the microphone, gave a frat sign with his arms, saluted and smirked. Article here

When I saw him make the arm gestures after his Cheney remark I thought there was something familiar about them, now I know. Here’s a list of organizations he belong’s to listed in a 2003 program directory:

1976- present Doric Lodge #77 F. & A.M.

1960 – present Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

What I would like to point out is the listing of his association with Doric Lodge #77 F&AM, Western Consistory #28 and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

While in the military I became very familiar with these ‘fraternity’s’ that are exclusively black and extremely prejudiced. I know that any veteran reading this knows exactly what I’m talking about. Let me put the more common names on them to jar your memory. Que Dawgs? Prince Hall Masons? Sir Knights? Believe me, this form of ‘masonry’ is not masonry, it is a bastardized fraternity that hazes it’s members with extreme acts of humiliation, physical beatings and paddling’s to the extent that soldiers are given a few days off to recover from the wounds. I say again, it is not Masonry. Don’t believe me do ya? Doesn’t matter, it’s true, ask a military person or family member.

Guess I have to go ask my former Marine son…. Investigations, any one?
