« Should Our Tax Dollars Protect Iranian President? | Main | More on Iranian President's Visit »

Yup, the 'Grok is endorsing someone!

Ken Merrifield

Future Mayor of Franklin, NH

Ken Merrifield

I met Ken Merrifield at another radio show here in the Lakes Region.  A smart guy, a good conservative, his main message is keeping the tax cap whole in Franklin.  Why?  It protects taxpayer monies and forces the city's managers and leaders to be creative and think.  And it has worked well, giving rise to a growth in the State that is well managed and among the fastest in the state.  We wish him well and good success in the upcoming race!

Anyways, he promotes his case better than we do.  We were fortunate enough to interview him at one of the political events that we went do, and it is our pleasure to have captured that interview (on his favorite topic) here: Ken on Tax Caps

BTW, that's his truck behind his head...you know, the one with this on it:

Mitt Romney

Ken really is a great advocate for the benefits of a tax cap. I wish we could get such leaders that are so well spoken and thoughtful like Ken here in the town I reside in... It's amazing how natural and believable someone can sound when speaking facts free of political baggage. Congrats Ken! Maybe I'll move to Franklin...
Thanks for the kind words...Franklin is a very attractive place for a number of reasons, and one happens to be a stable tax rate. I want to share that I was out campaigning door-to-door this weekend in Ward Three in Franklin. Nearly everyone we saw supports the tax cap, despite the current prevailing opinion on their city council that we have "outgrown" it. I was very encouraged by my personal contact with voters. We haven't lost NH... It was just napping. Warm regards to your readers! Follow Franklin! Ken Merrifield
The best choice for Franklin definitily honest and knowledgeable about government. Best of luck Ken.
